Throughout this time it has developed into one of the most important independent record company in Germany. At Rodeostar we offer all our artists and bands a complete service package in the form of a 360° model (label – booking – management – merchandising). Furthermore we offer additional synergies through our in-house business areas, such as our own video and TV production company, a well established web video portal, our own graphic design department, to name but a few.

For quite some time Rodeostar has been active in the booking business. As a booking agency, we are currently managing a wide range of artists and bands. Label

Rodeostar Records, part of Rodeostar, is one of the biggest and most important independent labels in Germany. Our sales partners for GAS (Germany-Austria-Switzerland) are Sony AG, Zebralution for digital distribution and Cargo Records handles record distribution. At the international level, Rodeostar Records uses affiliated distributors and label partners.

Management

For many years, Rodeostar has successfully managed a wide range of artists and bands. In this context, artists are successfully marketed, record and advertisement contracts are brokered, all promotion and PR organisation is handled and all economic and financial questions are dealt with for the artists.

Merchandising

Another of Rodeostar’s major business areas is merchandising. To capitalise on this area, Rodeostar founded the Merch United division and has subsequently developed it into one of the leading German merchandising companies. A number of artists and bands, as well as radio stations and beverage producers, are among the Merch United’s clients. Rodeostar offers all customers a complete service package which includes not only design, printing and production of the goods, but also a round-the-clock order service, payment services, warehousing and the realisation of tour and festival merchandising. Production and distribution

For more than a decade Rodeostar has been active in the production and distribution of records. During this time hundreds of CDs and records, adding up to several million copies, have been produced and distributed. Due to this Rodeostar has grown a network which enables favourable production costs and excellent distribution conditions. Naturally, we also offer excellent distribution conditions for digital recordings.
Rodeostar offers a full service to all artists and bands, ranging from graphic design and layout, production and manufacture, to physical and digital distribution. We’d be happy to offer you personal advice.

Music publishing

The music publishing business is taken care of for Rodeostar by its partner Artist & Business Companions and their Edition Hamburg Publishing / EMI Music Publishing partners. Within this framework, a comprehensive repertoire of works from national and international writers is being published. Together with Edition Hamburg Publishing, Rodeostar has at its disposal excellent contacts to all the relevant music publishers and record companies. Rodeostar is the right point of contact for the release and licensing of one, several or many song titles.

Video portal

Clips United is the video-on-demand web portal developed and set up by Rodeostar. It includes comprehensive community and social networking functions and offers an integrated advertisement module for added value. The web portal offers state-of-the-art technology. Several thousand high-quality video clips have been placed since the establishment of the portal. It is the medium-term goal to compile and offer several ten thousands of video clips in this portal. Clips United consciously differentiates itself from other video when it comes to content as it shows no user generated content, i.e. self-made videos and clips.
smart clip AG, Hamburg, has been commissioned to market Clips United. As market leaders for web marketing in Germany, smart clip has access to all the content which it places on all relevant German web sites and web portals (e.g. clipfish – bild.de – pro7.de – and many more) incorporating a wide range of commercials.
Clips United is constantly looking for new high-quality content. This can be current, but can also be older material such as music videos, live recordings of concerts, TV shows, documentaries, etc. If you provide us with content then we will handle it for a contractually agreed period without you losing the rights to your content. We prepare (shorten and cut) your content for the web and market it.
