Evolver One is billed as one of South Africa’s finest rock bands. Having performed in the USA and completed countless national tours and half a thousand shows, including all of SA’s major music festivals, the guys feel as though they have only just begun, albeit 12 years on the music scene. With the introduction of vocalist Lez Dart into the band in May 2012, the band is ready to take Evolver One to the next level. The band is set to release a new album in April 2013. „Dont Have To Run“ is the 1st single with Dart on Vocals, and has been playlisted in the USA.

In 2011 tracks from their self-titled album caught the ear of Sat Bisla, CEO of A&R Worldwide based in Los Angeles, California. Evolver One was asked to showcase at the world famous “World Wide Radio Summit” to music executives at the renowned SIR Studios in Hollywood, California. Bisla has worked with the likes of Coldplay, Muse, Keane, Wolfmother and many more.

From charity performances to performing to 27 000 strong, Evolver One have shared the stage with many international greats such as 3 Doors Down, Stained, Hooberstank, Snow Patrol & Oasis.
Evolver Ones‘ debut album, Get Up (2006) achieved critical & commercial success. It produced a number of hit singles & music videos. Songs such as Get Up, Closer to You & Keep on Moving did especially well. In 2008 the then four piece released their second album What’s The Story? & songs such as Go All The Way, Pretty Thing & Why We Lonely hit the SA charts.

Due to the bands international touring plans in 2010, it spurred on a name change from Evolver to Evolver One. Evolver One came together internally to take their philosophy of One to the world through their music and actions. The new branding was executed without losing the raw, powerful, edgy sound that brought them their current level of success. The band have a strong voice to tackle more relevant topics to spread the word of optimism.

In 2010 Evolver One’s self-titled album was the talking point in the South African music industry, with songs such Criminal, Move Along & The World’s Gone Crazy having been playlisted on prominent radio stations, and became the soundtrack to the movie The Race-ist. The independent rocker’s signed international hit-maker Nathan Winkler as their producer for this abum, who has worked with siblings Natasha & Daniel Bedingfield. Evolver One has returned to the local and international music scene with a new vocalist a fresh wave of songs and a dynamic single, ‘Don’t Have To Run’. The guys are proud of the way the new record is sounding and cannot wait to begin performing their newly penned tracks live. The band has spent the last 4 months at “Eleven Entertainment Studios” and is set to release their fourth studio album within the next two months. “ ‘Don’t Have To Run’ ” was chosen from at least six other possible singles. In other words, there are more on the way.
